Every PLEYNE piece is made to order. For the man who wants more, the atelier opens its hand entirely.
Nothing in the house is made until it is yours.
When you commission a piece, it is cut to your measurements on the PLEYNE house block and finished by hand in Jaipur three to four weeks, start to finish.
Made-to-order refines an existing design to your body and your palette. Bespoke begins from a blank pattern your idea, drawn with our hand. Both end the same way: a single garment, made for one man.
From conversation to cloth.
The conversation
An hour with a Pleyne design consultant - a walkthrough, an exploration, and a design discussion at the Jaipur atelier or by video.
Cloth & palette
You choose from the house cloth library, raw silks, high-twist wools, brushed twills, and settle the palette. Then it's built by hand and made yours. Nothing loud unless you ask for it.
Pattern & first cut
Your measurements are drafted to a personal block. The first cut is made and basted by hand for the fitting to come.
The fitting
You try the basted garment. We mark, pin and refine, shoulder, closure, length, until the line sits exactly right. Fittings can be checked virtually, with one round of adjustments from what we discuss.
Finishing & delivery
Hand-finished, pressed, and shipped worldwide with tracking, in a Pleyne garment box.
